Academy Sports: Starting at 4 p.m. on 9/29, Academy Sports + Outdoors in Johnson City will be distributing free 24-packs of bottled water to help those affected by Hurricane Helene. Customers can look for the 18-wheeler parked in front of the store to pick up their free case of bottled water (no purchase necessary). Academy will be donating nearly 1,600 24-packs of water in total to the Johnson City area.

Bristol Orthotics & Prosthetics: We are asking our patients to donate, and we will coordinate with local agencies to provide food, water, and footwear to those in need. Also, we can assist anyone that lost prosthetic supplies or devices in the flood.

Elizabethton High School is accepting blankets and pillows for its shelter.
A shower trailer will be available at the TLC Community Center beginning Saturday afternoon. There will also be food, clothing, and hygiene products at the Stoney Creek Volunteer Fire Department on Hope Street near Hunter Elementary School.
The Altar Fellowship is accepting donations of water, new clothing, diapers, blankets, and generators. The church is also open as a day center for people who need power, WiFi, bathrooms, food, and support. The church is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Crossroads Christian Church: 1300 Suncrest Drive in Gray, will be open from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. Monday through Friday. The site is not accepting clothes. Items needed are in-date food, water, hygiene items, feminine hygiene items, towels, blankets, diapers of any size, wipes, adult diapers, paper towels, toilet paper, pet leashes, and packaged animal food. Urgently needed items include new baby bottles, sealed medicine, gallon-sized bags or larger, work gloves, masks, liquid laundry detergent, hand can openers, unopened baby formula, trash bags, small first aid kits, empty boxes, portable phone chargers, and new bed pillows.

ETSU Athletics: The East Tennessee State University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is accepting donations on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. in Lot 19 of William B. Greene, Jr. Stadium. Needed items include toiletries, water, non-perishable food items, new clothes, cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, heavy-duty trash bags, and N-95 masks. Student-athletes and staff will deliver the items to sites on Wednesday.
Evergreen Free Will Baptist Church: 910 Hoback Street, Erwin, TN from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
First Baptist Church of Erwin: Unicoi County Disaster Relief Fund to Aid Flood Victims. The new site collecting donations for those impacted in Unicoi County will be the Evergreen Freewill Baptist Church at 910 Hoback Street in Erwin. The donation center will be open every day from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. daily. Items needed include trash bags, batteries, medical supplies, etc.
4thirTEEN: Accepting donations from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday until Friday. Drop off at the lower level of Freedom Hall Civic Center by the pool area and tennis courts, located at 1320 Pactolas Road. There will be trucks ready to be loaded that will be distributed on Wednesday and Friday. Requested donations include batteries, flashlights, chargers, jugs of water, kids’ shoes in all sizes, women’s hygiene products, canned goods, and baby formula.

Home 2 Suites by Hilton: In Johnson City will start allowing people to fill portable water containers up to 5 gallons per family per day. This will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. You will need your own containers. The address for the hotel is 190 Heart Drive, Johnson City, TN 37604.
Johnson City Doughboys: Item donations can be brought to the front office at Memorial Park Community Center from Sept. 30-Oct. 4, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. (Those donating will get two free tickets to next season’s home game).
JAMA Food Pantry: In Jonesborough will be opening up its area of service to the entire Washington County area starting Thursday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Kingsport Fire Department Station 1: 130 Island Street has been established as a collection point for flood relief donations. The collection point will be open from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. on weekdays. The following items can be donated (all items must be new): small first aid kits, bottled water, hygiene items, feminine hygiene products, baby formula, baby and adult diapers of all sizes, toilet paper, paper towels, bath towels, washcloths, laundry detergent, batteries, portable chargers, flashlights, and cleaning supplies.
Lighthouse Baptist Church (Hwy 81 S): We will gather the donations at the church and deliver them to the distribution point at South Central School in Washington County. We are receiving donations Tuesday – Thursday from 5-7 p.m.
Lighthouse Christian School: Is accepting donations of water, pet supplies, diapers, wipes, non-perishables, etc. Donations can be dropped off at 145 Shipp Springs Road in Kingsport. The school will also accept donations on Monday for the Jonesborough Community Chest, which will be distributed to area shelters.
Limestone Volunteer Fire Department: Will distribute water beginning at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday at Grandview Elementary.
